We have a long tradition of welcoming students from Italy. There are currently 192 Italian students following a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Holders of the Diploma di Esame di Stato will be considered with the following grade equivalencies: 
A*AA - 95 
AAA - 92 
AAB - 90 
ABB - 88 
BBB - 85 

Subject specific requirements: 
A* - 15/15 OR 10/10 
A - 14/15 OR 9/10 
B - 13/15 OR 8/10 

Postgraduate

Holders of a good Diploma di Laurea (pre or post 1999), a Corso di Master Universitario di primo livello or a Corso di Specializzazione di primo livello from a recognised university with a minimum overall grade of 99 out of 110 for 2:1 equivalence, or 91 out of 110 for 2:2 equivalence, will be considered for entry to taught postgraduate programmes.

Holders of a good Corso di Specializzazione di primo livello, a Diploma di Laurea (pre1999), a Corso di Perfezionamento, a Diploma di Specialista, a Corso di Laurea Specialistica, a Corso di Master Universitario di secondo livello or a Corso di Specializzazione di secondo livello from a recognised university with a minimum overall grade of 99 out of 110 will be considered for entry to postgraduate research programmes.

English Language

You will be required to provide evidence of your English ability. Please view the entry requirements for specific programme requirements.

As you are aware, the UK will be holding a referendum on its membership of the European Union on the 23 June 2016. Regardless of the outcome of this referendum, we will not change the tuition fees for EU students already published for the academic year 2016/17.
