The University of Birmingham welcomes applications from students from Jordan. We currently have 32 Jordanian students studying a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Entry requirements

The following information is for guidance only and should be used together with the University's general entrance requirements and any specific degree programme requirements. 

Foundation Pathways

Holders of the Tawjihi with a minimum average score of 85% will be considered for entry to the foundation programme.

The University will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examinations, the International Baccalaureate (IB), or a suitable foundation programme, such as the Birmingham International Academy, for entrance to undergraduate programmes. 


Students with a good four year honours degree with minimum GPA of 2.6 out of 4 from a recognised university will be considered for postgraduate study at the University of Birmingham.

We will consider students who hold a Masters degree from a recognised institution for postgraduate research programmes.

English Language

You may be required to provide evidence of your English ability. Please view the entry requirements for specific programme requirements.
