We have a long tradition of welcoming students from Romania. There are currently 127 Romanian students following a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University.

Holders of the Diploma de Bacalaureat with a minimum overall score of 8/10 will be considered for entry to the first year of our undergraduate degree programmes.

Please refer to the information below as guidance for grade comparisons to A-level entry requirements:

A*AA-AAA: Minimum overall score of 9/10 in the Diploma de Bacalaureat
AAB - ABB: Minimum overall score of 8.5/10 in the Diploma de Bacalaureat 
BBB: Minimum overall score of 8/10 in the Diploma de Bacalaureat  

Specific subject requirements:
A*-A = 9/10
B = 8/10


Holders of a good Diplomă de Licenţă, Diplomă de Inginer, Diplomă de Urbanist Diplomat, Diplomă de Doctor-Medic, Diplomă de Farmacist or Diplomă de Arhitect (Bachelors degree) from a recognised Romanian Higher Education institution with a minimum GPA of 8 out of 10 for 2:1 equivalence, or 7 out of 10 for 2:2 equivalence, will be considered for entry to taught postgraduate programmes.

Holders of a good Bachelors degree from a recognised Romanian Higher Education institution with a minimum GPA of 8 out of 10, and/or a Diplomă de Studii Academice Postuniversitare (Postgraduate Diploma - Academic Studies), Diplomă de Studii Postuniversitare de Specializare (Postgraduate Diploma - Specialised Studies) or Diplomă de Master (Masters degree) will be considered for entry to postgraduate research programmes.

English Language
