The University of Birmingham welcomes applications from students from Argentina. A growing number of Argentine students are studying undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Birmingham in a range of disciplines.
Birmingham Foundation Academy
For entry to our foundation programme, the Birmingham Foundation Academy, we would consider students who have obtained an average of 7/10 in the Título de Bachillerato (High School Leaving Certificate) to include at least 7/10 in Mathematics for our Engineering and Physical Sciences pathway.
For further information see the Birmingham Foundation Academy website.
The University will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examinations and the International Baccalaureate (IB) for entrance to undergraduate programmes.
Holders of the Bachillerato together with a recognised foundation programme, such as the Birmingham Foundation Academy, will be considered for entry to our Bachelor degree programmes.
Holders of the Licenciado or an equivalent professional title from a recognised Argentinian university, with a promedio of at least 7.5, may be considered for entry to a postgraduate degree programme. Applicants for PhD degrees will normally have a Maestria or equivalent.
