S1 My tips for applicants who might have an interview: firstly to find out whether or not you do actually have one, as not all departments have interviews. If you do have an interview, it’s important to find out what type of interview you’re actually going to have. Some interviews are groups; some are individual; so it’s important to brush up on your technique for either one of those. Also doing little things like brushing up on current affairs and also finding out a bit about the course which you’re actually applying for – they’re important things to do.
