Edward came to the University through the Chamberlain Award and was chosen as one of the '12 to watch' after demonstrating a great enthusiasm and appreciation for the University in his application.
What’s your favourite place on campus?
My favourite place on campus is the green space between the library and Old Joe. When the weather's good, it is the best place to chill on campus by a mile. You get a real feel for the University because of the views and being so central on campus. My first day of being a fresher, myself and friends from halls of residence spent our first afternoon sat here against a tree, which is a great memory. It's also one of my favourite places to de-stress and enjoy the sunshine.
What would you change about your experience?
Hard question as I've loved every minute of my time at the University. I've attended the society fair every year since being an undergraduate and my biggest regret is not joining a society, despite all the opportunities. The Guild offer and support a massive variety of societies, and if I was to re-do my time here, I would definitely join the Battle Re-enactment Society.
