Encouraging inclusion

As a truly global university, we embrace our diversity as a source of strength that underpins the exchange of ideas, innovation and debate at the heart of our academic mission.

We remain committed to promoting equality, diversity and fairness irrespective of age, disability, gender, pregnancy or marital status, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation or transgender status.

As part of our work, we are supporting the Edward Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion in their efforts to engage with faith communities in the most interreligious city in the UK, and the Centre for Research in Race & Education (CRRE) as they work to close gaps in educational achievement and improve the educational experiences and career outcomes of Black and minority ethnic people.
