Contact us

Careers Network is here for you even after you graduate. You can contact us in person, over the phone, or online through Careers Connect.

Contact us online

Our "contact us" page has information on where you can find us, both online and off, as well as contact details for our related services, including Careers in Business (a specialist service for postgraduate students in the Business School and Economics) and Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EI helps students, graduates and staff to set up their own businesses). It also has more information on our college-based advice and guidance services.

You can talk to us through Careers Connect (registration required; current students should use their university log-in details) to get email advice and feedback, for up to twenty-four months after your graduation. This service can look at CVs, application forms, covering letters, and careers-related questions of all kinds; responses should be received within seven working days.

You can also visit our website for useful information on finding and applying for jobs, careers-related resources, copies of some of our popular handouts, videos, and more. If you have any problems with Careers Connect, please consult our introduction to Careers Connect, and the troubleshooting guide. And beyond our website, you can join us on social media - Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and more!

Visit us in person

You can also visit us in person; we are open all year round, Monday to Friday, except for public holidays and university closed days. More details and any exceptional changes will be noted on our opening hours page. Our information room, found in Careers Network, contains books, handouts, and other careers-related materials including DVDs which you can watch on one of our computers.

Additionally, we offer appointments via face-to-face, telephone or Skype, for the CV and application support clinic and advice desk. You can book these up to seven days in advance, by coming into Careers Network reception or by phoning us on 0121 414 6120 (current students can book online, but this service is not currently available to graduates). We do not offer drop-in advice services, so please book in advance.
