On Thursday 8th September, Professor Edward Peck, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Social Sciences, hosted an informal alumni gathering at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Beijing. Over 35 alumni attended the event, including Jade Bressington, Alumni Relations Manager for the College of Social Sciences and Feng Ding, the head of the Beijing Alumni Group. Alumni were updated on the latest University developments in China including the launch of a new collaborative centre with the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality, the opportunities for alumni to support employability initiatives and the potential for development of the local Beijing alumni group.
