On Tuesday 15 February, members of Birmingham. For life. held their second annual Networking Workshop at Birmingham Business School.
The workshop started with students participating in a networking skills session led by Lucy Williams from the Careers and Employability Centre. They learnt valuable tips and techniques, including the importance of preparation and presentation in both formal and informal networking scenarios.
Students then had the chance to practice their newly-learnt skills on alumni during an informal drinks reception.

Birmingham. For life. is a new student society sponsored by the Development and Alumni Office and aims to connect students with alumni through events such as this.
