The Chancellor's Guild of Benefactors

ChancellorsGuildofBenefactors This is the highest honour we can bestow on a donor and membership is open to those who make exceptional gifts to the institution – in excess of £1 million.

To recognise these extraordinary contributions, the Chancellor presents you with special robes and a certificate at a formal ceremony. You will also be invited to important University events throughout the year.

The Chamberlain Circle

Donors who give £5,000 or more in an academic year are invited to become members of the Chamberlain Circle. To recognise your generous donation you will be invited to an annual drinks reception, hosted by the Vice-Chancellor.

The 1900 Society

Membership of this society is open to all who give £1,000 or more within an academic year. Like members of the Chamberlain Circle, you will be invited to an annual drinks reception, hosted by the Vice-Chancellor. 

The Rowbotham Fellowship

RegisterofbequestsThe fellowship recognises all those who have chosen to leave a legacy to the University. It is named in honour of the bequest made by Sir Samuel Hanson Rowbotham and entitles the benefactor to a recording of their name and bequest in the leather-bound Register of Bequests outside the Great Hall. You will also receive the annual donor newsletter and an invitation to the annual Rowbotham Fellowship reception.
