All University of Birmingham alumni are invited to attend the seventh annual House of Lords reception on Friday 5 November 2010.
This popular reception will be hosted by Lord Hannay of Chiswick, who served as the University’s Pro Chancellor from 2001 to 2006. Wine and canapés will be served throughout the evening and guests can enjoy the views of the Thames, the London Eye and other landmarks from the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace.
The evening is a great opportunity to meet up with old friends, talk to some of our current students about their Birmingham experience and to hear the latest University news from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Eastwood.
Tickets for the reception will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday 31 August and all UK alumni will receive an email advising them of how to book tickets online. This event sold out within a week in 2009 and we anticipate that tickets will be in high demand again this year, so early booking is strongly recommended.
