graduates gathered within Chancellor's Court

Once you’ve studied at Birmingham, we hope it’s a relationship for life and we are very proud of all our former students.

From television and sport to research and government, the University has outstanding alumni across all sectors including the Nobel prize-winning geneticist Sir Paul Nurse (BSc Biology, 1970), comedienne and actress Victoria Wood (BA Drama, 1974) and Manchester United Chief Executive and Vice-Chairman of the FA David Gill (BCom Industrial, Economic and Business Studies, 1978)

Here you can find out more about our alumni and their adventures after Birmingham.
