From our economic contribution of £779 million to the West Midlands region to the role of local people in our research, we are proud to be Birmingham's University, developing world-leading research and innovation for more than a century.
We are working with the city’s businesses, sporting and cultural icons to help put Birmingham on the world map as a city of cultural, intellectual and innovative importance.
Chamberlain founded the University so that it could support the growth and development of the city. This laid the foundations for a relationship that continues to this day. Our relationship with our local community is constantly evolving and maturing to the benefit of the region and the University.
