Martin Devenish has been with Goldman Sachs since 1992 and Partner since 2002. He is responsible for the equities businesses in the emerging market of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In addition, he oversees the distribution of the firm’s Asia Pacific and Latin American products to European-based clients. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Martin spent four years at HSBC Asset Management.
Martin is a Birmingham graduate (Commerce and Industrial Economics, 1986) and is an active member of the University of Birmingham’s Development Advisory Council, advising on the “Access to Birmingham” scholarship scheme.
Martin became a member of Council in August 2010.
