Description
Lunchtime-Lectures

The British public has become all too familiar with complaining. This talk by Dr Jonathan Reinarz, Director of the History of Medicine Unit at University of Birmingham, will explore how complaining has shaped modern medicine, its impact on patients and practitioners and what the future of complaining has in store.

This event is one in a series of University of Birmingham lunchtime lectures presented as part of The Library of Birmingham's new season for 2014 - the Cultures Season - celebrating human creativity in its widest, most fascinating and sometimes unexpected forms, from the earliest days of print to the latest digital technologies.
