Migration, Nutrition and Ageing in Bangladeshi Families in the UK and the ‘Desh: Project MINA

The Bangladeshi population is one of the UK’s fastest growing ethnic groups and they are more socially disadvantaged. This talk by Janice L. Thompson (Professor of Public Health Nutrition and Exercise) describes ground-breaking research which aims to improve the health and well-being of this community.

This event is one in a series of University of Birmingham lunchtime lectures presented as part of The Library of Birmingham's new season for 2014 - the Cultures Season - celebrating human creativity in its widest, most fascinating and sometimes unexpected forms, from the earliest days of print to the latest digital technologies.
