Join Voices of War and Peace for this one-off study day exploring the First World War and medicine, injury, trauma, treatment and disability.

Speakers include Professor Steven Jeffrey, Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, Birmingham; artist Julia Midgley who’s latest project is titled War, Art & Surgery, Ian Fellows, Focus Insight Wolverhampton; Professor Jonathan Reinarz, Director at The History of Medicine Unit at University of Birmingham, Emily Mayhew, author of Wounded: From Battlefield to Blighty, and Cancer Research UK.

Admission is free however places are limited and so booking is essential.
