TGS Fridays - Academia.edu an online library for researchers

Georgia Tsatsani talks about the social network academia.edu, launched in 2008 to enable researchers to share research papers and build a network of peers online. The network has many similar functions to better known social media platforms, but is uniquely suited to the needs of researchers.

Think Graduate School (TGS) Fridays are networking events by postgraduate researchers, for postgraduate researchers. They are an opportunity for PGRs to discuss a topic that is relevant to their work and network in an informal setting.
