Acts of Faith is this year’s interfaith marquee event and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Come along for entertainment, thought-provoking discussion and, most importantly, free food!
This year’s theme is how faith can be put into action, whether that is charity in the community, tackling poverty or caring for the environment. There will be information about all of these issues, as well as the chance to get involved in volunteering and other projects. There’ll even be a fair trade stall where you can find out about – and sample – a range of fairly traded goods. There will also be entertainment and a delicious vegetarian buffet available all day, so please drop in for free food any time between 11am and 3pm.
The event will be finishing with the Interfaith Association AGM at 3pm in the marquee.
This is a great chance to get involved with interfaith work on campus, and make events like this one happen. Following the marquee event, there will also be a talk on ‘Faith in a Secular University’ at 4.30pm, given by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Martin Stringer.
