Description
GRAB

The 2013 Great Read at Birmingham is The Incredible Human Journey by clinical anatomist and broadcaster Alice Roberts, the University's Professor of Public Engagement in Science. Her book traces human origins from Africa through our colonisation of the globe; using scientific methods, from climatology to genetics, whilst exploring art, culture and society, she encourages us to ask some of the great questions in life: who are we, and how did we get here? The book has been chosen for its cross-disciplinary appeal - spanning areas such as geology, anthropology and archaeology. This display illustrates some of the relevant themes with books from the Cadbury Research Library: Special Collections.

Free exhibition, open to all University ID card holders. Non ID card holders please register at Main Library reception.
