Green Supplier Fair and Ethical Market

The event will give University suppliers the opportunity to showcase the ways in which they are helping us to reduce our impact on the environment.

Enjoy a Fairtrade coffee or tea and a Fairtrade snack whilst discovering how use of cleaning chemicals has been reduced through the use of microfibre cloths.  Find out how the latest technology is being used in the new Library building to significantly reduce energy use whilst providing a comfortable and pleasant environment.  A wide variety of suppliers will be attending so do come along and find out how we can all purchase more sustainably.

As the event falls during Fairtrade Fortnight, the Guild’s Oxfam Outreach Society will hold an Ethical Market where you’ll be able to purchase fair and ethically traded goods such as Ethiopian crafts, locally made jewellery and bags, jams and pickles and decoupage gifts.
