Elly Barnes

Join Elly Barnes, voted No. 1 on the Independent on Sunday’s Pink List 2011, for an inspirational and entertaining lecture to get you changing opinion and incorporating diversity in your school or workplace. Elly will talk about her own experiences (successes and failures!) in creating institutional change and share her tried and tested approaches to creating an enlightened LGBT friendly environment.

Elly is the Director of Education for LGBT History Month and LGBT Schools Advisor for Birmingham City Council and the lecture will be interactive and practical ensuring you leave with resources and ideas you can implement the very next day.

This event is suitable for teachers, education professionals, students and anyone interested in promoting diversity within their organisation.
