Henry Reed (1914-1986) was a poet, critic, playwright, radio dramatist, translator and journalist. In this talk Mark Eccleston, Archivist at the Cadbury Research Library: Special Collections, will explore Reed’s fascinating life-story both as a public figure and as a private man through the original manuscripts contained in his archive held at the Cadbury Research Library. These including his unpublished literary works and his personal correspondence to his one-time partner, Michael Ramsbotham.
