The course is for undergraduates, postgraduates and graduates in the West Midlands who are considering a freelance career in the creative professions and want to know how to start in the current and foreseeable economic climate.  A freelance career in the Creative sector is certainly becoming the norm. But what does it mean to have a freelance career in the creative industries? Could you do it? How would you do it? This two‐day training course introduces participants to the opportunities available for non-traditional careers in the Creative industries and provides participants with the knowledge, skills and strategies to become an effective freelancer. It is intended to support participants who are not sure how to go about it or what the opportunities might hold for them. This two day course is free and is part-financed through ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) via the BSEEN Project.
