The NIHR Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facilities (WTCRFs) were established to provide purpose-built, dedicated clinical research facilities for use by the local research community, where patients/volunteers can participate in research programmes safely and effectively according to robust, ethically approved trial protocols.
