All patrons are personally responsible for the prompt return of library materials borrowed by them. Library materials should NOT be taken outside the UK. Library materials not returned after two overdue reminders, followed by a FINAL OVERDUE letter, will be considered Ã¢â‚¬Å“LostÃ¢â‚¬Â and the borrower will be invoiced for the replacement costs plus VAT and administration charges. Library materials should be preserved in good condition and not damaged, marked or defaced in any way. Electronic bulletins produced by the library are for registered library users only, and not for re-distribution. Failure to comply with this may lead to the termination of your library membership. N.B. Library materials remain the property of the University of Birmingham and non-return is considered theft.
