Professional Experience
I started at HSMC in 1999 straight out of library school. I started as a temporary current awareness librarian for 3 months after which time I became a permanent member of staff. In 2002 I became Library & Information Services Manager.
Professional Interests
I have always has been interested in current awareness services, user education, the utilisation of information technology in information management and library marketing and promotional activities.
Additional information
I enjoy reading, cooking, going to the cinema, travelling and running around after my two young kids.

Professional experience
I have worked in libraries since 2000 and have experience in the public, charity and education sectors.
For five years I managed a busy Learning Resource Centre at Walsall College before joining the University of Birmingham in 2010. I managed the weekend team over at the Main Library before joining the HSMC Library in August 2012.
Professional Interests
User education, library marketing and promotional activities, Web 2.0 technologies and customer care.
Additional information
I enjoy travelling, cooking, reading and walking my greyhound Dave (although not all at the same time!).

Professional Experience
I qualified as a nurse in 1993 and worked as an RGN for 10 years. I then decided on a career change, joined HSMC as a library assistant in 2005 and completed Levels 2 and 3 of the NVQ program in Library & Information Studies.
I am now doing a BSc Econ in Library & Information Studies at Aberystwyth University.
Professional Interests
Marketing of the Library services, current awareness services, IT, web development, user training, and the supply of information.
Additional information
I enjoy gardening (I am always ready to discuss slugs!), history, reading, though always talking books, cooking, and of course Mabel my cat and my three hens.
