Sources

As an HSMC student you can borrow books from:

- the HSMC Library,

- all university libraries on campus

- via the Sconul Scheme

You can access ebooks via the university catalogue.

For information on how to find books and ebooks from these and other sources look in the 'Library Resouces' pages on Canvas - you will need your university username and password to log on.

Book a Library Induction Session with us in person or over the phone and learn your way around all the resources that are available to you.

Find your journal articles

On Canvas you will find a HSMC Library section with information on all the resources available to you as well as your individual module sections.

We have a collection of study skills resources - for further details on look in the 'Study Skills' section of Canvas in the Library resources section - you will need your university username and password to log on.

Keep up to date

News Bulletins

We produce a series of emailed bulletins designed to keep you up to date with current issues.

Register for these current awareness services via the eLibrary

Electronic contents pages: register for journals in your subject area and receive the table of contents every time a new issue is published.  You can set this up via the Zetoc website using your universiry username and password

Monthly database searches: save a search in an individual database and it will rerun every month and send you an emailed report detailing new citations matching your search criteria.  Look in the database of your choice for details.
