Midlands Academy of Medical Sciences
Career Development Workshop (30th March 2017) and
Research Festival (31st March 2017) 

The second annual Research Festival will showcase the leading research in medical and life sciences from across the Universities of Birmingham, Keele, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick; this Festival will be preceded by a Career Development Workshop for clinical and non-clinical doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.

The Midlands Academy of Medical Sciences Career Development Workshop is for clinical and non-clinical doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, and will include various workshops in Skills for Early Career Researchers (Communications / Presentations workshops) and Structured Networking. 

Places for the event will be first allocated to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers whose submitted abstracts have been selected for the Research Festival, and the remaining places will be offered to other applicants across the six universities.

Registration is now open.

Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers from each university will present oral and poster communications alongside invited lectures from Fellows and representatives from the Academy of Medical Sciences.  Regional Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences will be invited to attend.

Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers will be invited to register following abstract submission and acceptance.
