He is currently undertaking a MD degree project investigating the Clinical Implications of Genetic Predisposition to Prostate Cancer. The aim is to correlate the prostate cancer genetic risk variants with survival and treatment outcomes. This project is part of the Clinical ELLIPSE Consortium, which is a NIH (National Institute of Health) funded post-GWAS (Genome Wide Association Studies) initiative looking into the clinical application of genetic variants in prostate cancer.
