Dr Amen Sibtain specialises in the treatment of Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary and Head and Neck cancers. He has expertise in chemoradiotherapy, new radiotherapy techniques, including Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and the upcoming Cyberknife.
He is a Past President of the Oncology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, an examiner in oncology for the Royal College of Radiologists, an advisor to the Healthcare Commission, oncology advisor for BBC Drama, Chairman of the Head and Neck Tumour Board for North East London, and the Clinical Lead in Head and Neck Cancer at Barts.
