Description

This one-day course is aimed at general practitioners, practice nurses and other primary health care professionals with an interest in women’s health

Learning Objectives

  • An update of the epidemiology of women with bleeding disorders
  • A knowledge of current management of disorders of menstruation
  • An update on post-partum issues for primary care
  • A knowledge of how to identify early on who might need specialist investigation for a bleeding disorder
  • A knowledge of how to promote patient self-management
  • An overview of commissioning for women’s health
