Course Summary

The aim of the course is to enable students to respond to the care needs of individuals from a range of diverse backgrounds. In the sessions the students will begin to address their own levels of competence when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and will gain an understanding on how levels of competence can be improved.

The session will cover the following topics:

  • Epidemiology
  • Health Inequalities
  • Law
  • Communication
  • Research/Clinical Trials
  • Carers
  • Genetics
