Despite advances in medical and veterinary public health, new infections emerge almost yearly, affecting both advanced economies and disadvantaged societies alike. The majority of these are viral zoonoses, as a result of contact with wildlife, livestock or companion animals.
This workshop will deliver a comprehensive update on recent research and developments in the prediction, properties and control of emerging virus infections focusing on those considered as current risks to modern society.
