Geoff and June took part in an outreach meeting at the Oskar Bright film festival in Brighton in November, showing casing Phase 1 of the partnership project between Carousel and University of Birmingham. They took part in the Curing Perfect presentation, featuring disabled artists approaches to stem cell research. The artists were very excited to communicate their work in phase one of this project, launching the new Curing Perfect app game. Geoff and June helped people find 'stem cells' in the now famous polystyrene bead box. They look forward to moving into phase 2 of the project, exploring public views on perfection through the lens of disability. The artists will be visiting the University in March to record role plays with our medical, nursing and pharmacy students.
