Internship Officers groupEach college has its own dedicated internship officer that can help you with:

  • Advice and guidance on finding placements – including internships, work experience, volunteering and placement years
  • Funding – work experience bursaries to help with low paid/unpaid opportunities
  • Other careers network support services – mentoring schemes, careers advice, applications & CV checking, mock interviews.

We will be at the Student guild on the 23 September as part of the employability and skills fair – please come and see us!

Autumn Action (9 -13 November 2015)

Whether you want help in finding work within your first year of study, knowing where to look for international opportunities, want to know how to make an ‘awesome application’ or simply want to find out how to use our Careers Connect system to find your ideal placement or job, there will be something for you.

Work Experience Week (1-5 February 2016)

A week packed full of activities, workshops and events to help you find, apply for and secure internship and work experience opportunities.

Whether you are looking for international opportunities, want information on how to gain funding through the work experience bursaries or have already got your internship but want to know how to impress and make an impact, there is a workshop for you.

Throughout the week you will also have an opportunity to speak with employers directly about their work experience opportunities at our ‘Internship and Work Experience Fair’.
