Find out about more about the Work Experience Bursaries available to undergraduate students to help fund work experience placements/internships and research projects.

There are four types of bursaries available, and depending on which bursary strand you access, you can apply for £500-£2000. This can used to help with travel or costs of accommodation, and in some cases, equipment or resources. Access to the funds is not guaranteed and you will need to pass an application and interview process.

The bursaries are available to assist with the funding of opportunities that do not form part of your course requirements. You may not request a bursary to fund opportunities such as electives, or opportunities that are part of an accredited module.

Please note with the exception of the Global Challenge Internship programme, bursaries are only available for first, second and penultimate year students.

Interested? Members of the internships team will be available during the drop-in session with further information and answer any of your queries. If you are unsure whether you are eligible to attend this session, please e-mail
