About the internship

As a Software Engineer intern, you will be working on critical production systems, ensuring FactSet’s financial information products are always available, fast, reliable and scalable; continually searching for improvements, solving complex issues and working on new innovative products and services.

You will be based in our US Head Offices in Norwalk and work with some of the core parts of our product suite that include real time systems, messaging, content integration and analysis tools.

Software Engineers will be driving reliability, data, infrastructure and applications that are a core part of the Global Investment Market. The solutions you will find will require high levels of original thinking and creativity.

Our Engineering teams work on a wide variety of platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix and VMS) and in a number of core languages (C++, Java, Perl, JavaScript and C#) and thus we look to recruit not just programmers but “true” Software Engineers.

Our interns are assigned to individual projects that allow them to make a significant contribution within talented, highly supportive teams, whilst developing new skills in a Software Development environment.

The internship has a flexible start date, beginning in June, and is for eight weeks. All costs will be covered by Global Challenge.
