About the internship

The main aim of the internship for the organisation is to support the implementation of the Marketing Plan for Quarter 3 and 4 of 2014.

The opportunity will last for eight weeks during the summer vacation 2014, ideally to start in June.

The employer will provide a full induction and mandatory e-learning training, as well as computer and system access and an email account.

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities for the intern will be to:

  • assist and support product managers in new product launches
  • provide support in Marketing Plan updates
  • undertake market intelligence activities (SWOT, Market trends, competitor gate keeping)
  • conduct Market Research activities

Qualifications and skills

Applications are sought specifically from students studying disciplines with a strong marketing / communications component. A solid knowledge of marketing is essential, and it is desirable that applicants have previous experience in marketing in previous internships.

Please note that knowledge of French is a plus for this opportunity.
