About the internship

The internship will be based in Seoul, South Korea as part of the Global Business Division working in the Global Planning Group which is involved in worldwide marketing, business development and strategic alliance activities. The internship will be specifically involved in market research and building the plan & strategy for certain Samsung SDS service lines, e.g. Digital Convergence, Transportation, for the European Market.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in market research and strategy development and to immerse yourself in the tasks involved in creating a successful marketing strategy for a multinational company.

The internship will take place in July and August 2012 and will be of 6 weeks duration with exact dates to be finalised at a later stage.

Qualifications and skills

  • Fluent English speaker is required with an East European language desirable
  • Some experience of market research
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexible approach and positive attitude
  • Studying / background in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Planning & Strategy desirable
  • Any experience of ICT Services related to the transportation industry advantageous
