Lucy Doos

Research Fellow, School of Social Policy, University of Birmingham

Dr Lucy Doos is a research fellow in the school of social policy, University of Birmingham. She is a medical doctor with a Master’s degree in Public Health and Epidemiology and a PhD degree in Health Service Management (University of Birmingham, UK). She has extensive experiences in public health and health service research. She also had international experiences as a medical doctor and a researcher overseas and worked with a number of international organisations such as the WHO and UNICEF. She has experiences in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her research interests lie in the areas of public health and health services research.

Lucy has particular interests in immigrants’ health and inequalities. She also supervises international PhD students on health problems related to immigrants.
