Counselling sessions and offer holder events, Abuja and Port Harcourt, Nigeria, July 2012

Enweazu Ajiduah (Aj), the University of Birmingham Country Officer based in Nigeria, will be visiting Abuja on Thursday 5 July and Port Harcourt on Tuesday 10 July to offer student counselling sessions and deliver offer holder talks. Please see details below:

Abuja – Thursday 5th July

Venue: UKEAS Nigeria (Abuja office) Suite 3, 2nd Floor, HATLAB PLACE, Plot 1952 Sokode Crescent, off Dalaba Street (left turn), off Micheal Okpara Road, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja FCT

(a) Individual student counselling sessions (10:00-14:00) – a chance for you to talk more about the courses, ask questions and/or gain help with the application.

Please note that Aj is able to certify supporting documents such as degree certificates and transcripts. If you have not already submitted these and would like to use this service, please bring your original certified documents for Aj to see and one photocopy of each which will be sent back to the University.

(b) Pre-departure talk (16:00 – 19:00) - a talk to offer holders which gives useful and important information about accommodation, visa, required preparation for study in the UK and details on the first few weeks. This will help ease the transition into the UK and ensure you are fully prepared for study.

Please note that former students will also give a talk on their experience and there will be a chance to ask plenty of questions.

Port Harcourt – Tuesday 10th July

Venue: Novotel Hotel, 3 Stadium Road Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

(a) Individual student counselling sessions (14:00-16:00) – a chance for you to talk more about the courses, ask questions and/or gain help with the application.

Please note that Aj is able to certify supporting documents such as degree certificates and transcripts. If you have not already submitted these and would like to use this service please bring your original certified documents for Aj to see and one photocopy of each which will be sent back to the University.
