Professor Laura Piddock (MDS) featured on BBC Breakfast News, You and Yours and BBC Midlands Today, discussing the dangers of lack of research into new antibiotics, coinciding with the Antibiotic Action campaign launch at Westminster, which she is leading in her capacity as president of the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, Wednesday 9 November.

The message is simple: the failure to develop new antibiotic agents will lead to a return to the pre-antibiotic era; whether this be within five, ten or 20 or more years is unknown – but we cannot afford to wait.                                            Professor Laura Piddock

 Dr Pamela Robinson featured on BBC Radio WM Paul Franks Show and BBC Radio Shropshire discussing the closure of Best Buy and why we should buy British and local goods, Monday 7 November and Thursday 10 November.

Dr Jacqueline Blissett was interviewed on BBC Radio Hereford and Worcestershire and for an upcoming article in the Sainsbury’s Magazine about the launch of the Comfort Eater Beater app for iphone, on which she was a psychology consultant for Ideas Lab, which produced the app, Tuesday 8 November.

Dr Richard Cuttler (CAL) featured in the Gulf Times about findings of his archaeological dig in Qatar, Tuesday 8 November.

 Professor Roger Backhouse (CoSS) interviewed on BBC World Service about economists not being challenged as a shift in capitalism occurs, Wednesday 9 November.
