Description

Higher Education in the UK is facing the biggest shake-up in a generation. Against a backdrop of funding cuts and increased student fees, how will Universities continue to enhance the quality of education and the overall student experience? MPs will soon vote on the Government’s proposals, but what will all of this mean for the University of Birmingham?

The panel includes:

  • Professor David Eastwood, Vice-Chancellor, University of Birmingham
  • Dora Meredith, President, Birmingham Guild of Students
  • Claire Callender, Professor of Higher Education at Birkbeck and Institute of Education, University of London
  • Nick Barr, Professor of Public Economics at the London School of Economics
  • Chaired by Michael Collie, BBC presenter and broadcaster

Put your questions to the Vice-Chancellor and President of the Guild of Students on Tuesday 7 December, 5.00pm for 5.30pm at Birmingham Business School.

Please note that, due to the small number of places left for this event, registration will close at 2.30pm on Tuesday 7 December.
