Talented University of Birmingham students Alex Aldren (Medicine) and Alex Parker (Music) perform works for cello and piano by Fauré, Popper, Bach and Bartók. This charity concert aims to raise awareness and funds for the Kantha Bopha Cambodian children’s hospitals, where Aldren volunteered in summer 2010. The hospitals have a history of raising funds through weekly cello recitals and lecture-recitals given by its founder, Dr Richner.
