UMS Wind Band and Brass Band Concert (Sunday 20 November, 3pm, the Great Hall, University of Birmingham): The University Wind Band plays a selection of film music and works by Walton, Stravinsky and Adams. The Brass Band will perform works well known to all brass band aficionados, including Eric Ball's Salvationist tone poem The Kingdom Triumphant and Peter Graham's Summon the Dragon.
