An exhibition from the Cadbury Research Library: Special Collections exploring the way children’s writings in diaries, letters, schoolwork and stories provide us with an insight into their lives and the society in which they lived. In an age when children were not usually heard, during the 19th and early 20th centuries, these items in their different ways, highlight children’s experiences through the written words they have left us.
