This exhibition illustrates the textile traditions and styles of West Africa, with particular use of Nigerian and Ghanaian examples. Using cloth from the Danford Collection of West African Art and Artefacts, curators, students and volunteers have worked together to produce a visual celebration of the methods and processes behind West African textiles, considering changing style in reference to these methods.
