This display from the Cadbury Research Library: Special Collections highlights the work and writings of forward-thinking women in the early years of last century and their efforts to better the lot of their fellows. It is held to mark the centenary of the death of suffragette Emily Davison who died in June 1913 as a result of her stepping into the path of the King's horse in the Epsom Derby in a bid to draw attention to the demand of women for the vote.
