High Temperature Research Centre Project Secures Land at Ansty Park

Description
The University of Birmingham and Rolls-Royce joint collaboration to establish a High Temperature Research Centre (HTRC) took a significant step forward today confirming the Centre is to be built at Ansty Business Park, Coventry after securing land at the site. This follows the Centre's announcement by Chancellor George Osborne in October 2012.

low cost agri-food diagnostic test to help prevent spread of crop disease

Description
Linear Diagnostics Ltd, Molecular Vision Ltd and the Food and Environment Research Council, are pleased to announce the award of a £392,000 grant from the UK's innovation agency, the Technology Strategy Board to help fund a two year project to develop an onsite, quick and simple diagnostic test for the detection of multiple pathogens in harvested crops.
